Editorial Procedure – Practice-based papers

Practice-based articles are aimed at a wide audience, therefore their scope and style of writing can vary from the research based articles. The papers could be based on authors’ practical pedagogical implementations and experiences, or they could describe results and/or activities of Research & Development & Innovation (RDI) projects.

Submission of manuscripts should be original contributions i.e. it has not been published before or it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Also, the manuscript has been approved by all co-authors and when necessary, by the responsible authorities where the work has been carried out. The publisher will not be held legally responsible if there are any claims regarding above possible undesired copyright issues. All manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism. Manuscripts should be sent by email to eila.burns (at) jamk.fi

The length of the manuscripts should be no longer than 4,4000 – 8,000 words. See instructions for manuscript submission.

The publishing decision is made by the editorial team. The editor-in-chief and two experts of the editorial team will review the submission and give their feedback to the authors. Desk reject is in use, i.e. the editor in chief may decide not to send the manuscript for review.
